Hologram fan software, apps and video files, set up properly
Which app runs the fan, how to get a video onto it, what the file should look like, and what to do when it misbehaves. Start with the checker. Drop in a video and it tells you, before you upload, whether it will float or just spin.

- Shape. Square beats widescreen on a round display.
- Background. Pure black, or a gray disc?
- Edges. Anything important outside the circle?
- Subject. Big and bright enough to read?
The preview shows how your content sits in the fan’s circle. On a real fan the black areas vanish completely and the subject floats, which a screen can’t show you.
Which 3D hologram fan app do you need?
Hologram fans are controlled by a companion app on your phone and, for some models, a Windows program. The app talks to the fan over the fan’s own Wi-Fi network, so it works anywhere, with no internet or shop Wi-Fi needed.
For INNAYA fans: scan the QR code in the box or the manual. It takes you to the right app for your model on iOS or Android. Most of our H-series fans run on 3D Circle, and the H-series also supports PC control on Windows.
Bought your fan somewhere else? People search for the MissYou app, the Lumina app and a dozen others. These apps are brand-specific and usually not interchangeable. Use the QR code on your own fan’s box, or contact the seller. A generic app that isn’t matched to your fan’s controller simply won’t find it.

Setting up an INNAYA hologram fan
About fifteen minutes from box to floating logo.
Mount it before you power it
Use the included wall frame, or a tripod or ceiling bracket (sold separately). Keep the blades out of reach, above about 2.1 m (7 ft) or behind the protective case.
Plug in and let it spin up
It starts playing whatever is on the 16 GB card. Give the motor a few seconds to reach speed before you judge the picture.
Install the app
Scan the QR code from the box or manual and install the matching app on your phone.
Join the fan’s Wi-Fi
In your phone’s Wi-Fi settings, pick the network the fan broadcasts. The password is in the manual. Your phone may warn about “no internet.” Stay connected anyway.
Send your content
In the app, choose a video or photo from your phone and send it to the fan. Build a playlist, set the order, adjust brightness, and you’re done.
Big files? Use the card
For long or high-resolution videos, copy them straight onto the SD card from a computer. It’s faster than sending over Wi-Fi.

Making your own hologram fan videos
You don’t need a studio. Three routes, from ten minutes to a weekend:
- Phone photo, background removed. Shoot the product, remove the background with any cutout tool, and place it on pure black in a square frame. Add a slow zoom or turn in a video editor. Export MP4.
- Logo animation. Put your logo on black and add a gentle rotation or a light sweep across it. It’s the most useful loop most businesses will ever make.
- A real 3D turntable. In Blender (free), drop in a model, set the world color to black, add a 360° rotation over six to eight seconds, and render a square video.

Troubleshooting the usual suspects
The app can’t find my fan
Your phone has to be on the fan’s Wi-Fi, not your shop’s. Some phones quietly switch back to a network with internet. Turn off “auto-join” for your usual Wi-Fi, or switch cellular data off while you send files. Make sure you’re using the app from the QR code in your box.
My video won’t play
Usually it’s the format or codec. Convert it to MP4 with H.264 video (HandBrake’s “Fast 1080p30” preset works) and send it again. Very large files are better copied to the SD card.
There’s a faint gray circle around my image
The background isn’t pure black. Set it to #000000 in your editor, or crush the blacks. The file checker above flags this.
My text is backwards
You’re looking at the back of the fan, where everything is mirrored. Viewed from the front, it reads normally. For island displays seen from both sides, avoid text.
It looks flickery on my phone camera
That’s the camera shutter catching the blades mid-sweep. In person it looks solid. For filming, lock exposure and try a slower shutter or a “night” mode.
It’s louder than it used to be
Switch it off and check the blades are seated firmly and the mount screws are tight. A loose mount rattles. Replacement blades are available if one is damaged, and the protective case also quiets the motor.

What software do 3D hologram fans use?
A brand-specific companion app on iOS or Android, which connects over the fan’s own Wi-Fi, plus Windows PC software on many models. INNAYA fans link to the right app through the QR code in the box; most H-series models use 3D Circle.
Is the hologram fan app free?
Yes, the companion apps are free to download. Ready-made animations are optional extras.
What video format does a hologram fan need?
INNAYA fans play MP4, AVI, RMVB and JPG. For best results use a square MP4 (H.264), 1024 × 1024, with a pure black background.
Can I use any video on a hologram fan?
It will play, but only videos with a pure black background and a centered subject look like they’re floating. A normal full-frame video just looks like a spinning disc.
Can I control several fans at once?
Yes, from the H23 upward, linked through the multi-fan router. The linked fans show one combined image.
Where can I download 3D hologram fan videos?
